What’s with all the paper clothes?
Well, it started with a string of unsatisfactory apps. I’ve used many apps over the years to catalogue and ‘mix and match’ my clothes and they’ve never really worked for me.
The process of photographing everything I own loses it’s appeal after jumper number 25, the clothes never look the same ‘on’ as they do sprawled on my floor and after a while I find that my phone storage is full.
Now I knew that drawing every item of clothing I own would not be an efficient, time-saving solution. If anything it’s the opposite. However, I actually really like drawing the little pieces. I’ve always liked ‘minature’ things (doll houses and the like) and also being creative. Drawing the clothes ticks both boxes and is also very relaxing.
I’m not really sure where this is ‘going’ but I’ve gotten very into it! And the tiny clothes- they keep on coming.
So – there’s the exaplanation. If you want to see the little creations (and in some cases their ‘real life’ counterparts) check out my other posts on the topic :)
